I configured as so ./configure --enable-so and then make followed by make clean I then configured using php (using many config options: ./configure i386-redhat-linux --prefix=/usr --exec-prefix=/usr --bindir=/usr/bin --sbindir=/usr/sbin --sysconfdir=/etc --datadir=/usr/share --includedir=/usr/include Once you get that list, check to see if those files exist. But after that I cleaned up the brew repository and had no versions in Cellar.
